With 30 years experience of yoga, meditation, somatic movement and sacred cycle practices, Penny loves to hold space for folks to relax, slow down and drop into a greater sense of harmony with themselves and with the world. The practices she offers are gentle and designed to soothe. They lay the foundation for compassionate self discovery and invite the possibility of lasting wholeness, health and happiness.
Menstrual Mentoring
Warm, supportive self care guidance based on the rhythms of menstrual, lunar and seasonal cycles. To embrace and understand our cyclical nature is to awaken to the possibility of vibrant health, compassionate self cooperation and deep spiritual connection with ourselves and the world. It is vital if we are to thrive.
Somatic Yoga
A gently flowing blend of traditional Hatha Yoga, Hanna Somatics and Feldenkrais exercises that result in improved mind-body coordination, enhanced brain function, a regulated nervous system and good postural alignment. It is a very effective tool for relaxing muscles and releasing stress, creating an overall feeling of wellbeing.
Ceremony and Retreat
Tailor-made experiences for groups or individuals: ceremonies to mark initiatory moments of transition and change (including such forgotten rites of passage as menarche, menopause) and residential retreats crafted with a deep respect for our society's great need for rest, respite and meaningful connection.
